We also use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, via Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- Identify a suitable local painting professional for your project
- Pass your enquiry to that professional so they can contact you with a quote
- Understand which ads and pages bring visitors to our site, so we can improve our service
- Respond to you if you contact us directly
Legal basis for processing
We process your enquiry details on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the checkbox and submit the form. We process website analytics and advertising data on the basis of consent collected via our cookie banner, and in some cases our legitimate interest in operating and improving our service.
Who we share your data with
Your enquiry details are shared with one local painting professional from our network — the one who services your area and is best suited to your project — so they can contact you about it. We do not send your enquiry to multiple companies for you to compare quotes.
Some of our tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are provided by third parties who may process data outside the European Economic Area, under their own standard data protection safeguards.
How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry data (name, phone, email, photos, and project details) for 24 months from submission, after which it is deleted unless you’ve asked us to keep it longer or there’s a legal reason to retain it.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
